Analog Electronics.

Postby rathnaomkar » Fri Jan 20, 2012 8:20 am

I am finding difficulty in analyzing voltages in clipper circuits.

There was problem done in Egate session on Diode circuits. It was related to clipper circuits and the input was actually a Ramp signal I did not understand why the voltage has to be greater than 137.5V for diode D! to be on. Could you please explain it once sir.

Hi,

In all Diode questions, you start analyzing like this.

1. First check for what Vin the Diode is ON.
2. The determine the output voltage under this condition.
