1.A pipe has a diameter of 12 cm and its length is 50 m.An oil of specific gravity 0.8 & coefficient of viscosity is 0.8 poise flows through the pipe. The largest flow that is ?

Ans-1133 lit/min.

2.There is an abrupt expansion in a pipe of 9 cm to 12 cm at a particular section. The differential manometer connected to upstream and downstream section indicates a gauge reading of 2.5 cm.The velocity in the expanded section is ?

Ans- 2 m/sec.
