two capacitors,switch(open), resister(1 M ohm) connected in series...capacitros are 2 & 8 micro fards.
cap 2 micro F having a vol of 8V .At t=0 switch is closed what voltages will be ther across two Cs during steady state (after long time ) me with ur explanation.

At steady state 4V will appear across each of capacitor...

Beacause 2uF capacitor will discharge & 8uF will be charged & charging will stop when both vltg across the capacitor become same...

the 8 fards capacitor wil gave 4 v at its half wave....because it (t=0)& it is closed....

u can get more clear information abt this que in this site...

Voltage at both the capacitors will reach to 6.4V after long time(by the time transient current dissapeared)
